The Focus Feature

Harper + Scott’s quarterly trend reports serve as a strategic marketing tool designed to position us as a forward-thinking parter in branded merchandise. It is sent out to existing and prospective clients to demonstrate our commitment to trend forecasting and how emerging cultural shifts can be translated into relevant merch. Beyond researching/designing the core trend report, I collaborated closely with marketing to extend the concept across email, web, and social. Our goal was to build a cohesive campaign that supported lead generation, client engagement, and showcase our expertise.

This project represents one example of an ongoing quarterly initiative in which I partnered with marketing to concept, design, and deploy trend-driven campaigns aimed at driving new business opportunities.

The feature explored how nostalgia-driven aesthetics are on the rise and influencing consumer behavior and how brands can translate these cultural shifts into impactful merchandise programs. The B2B email was designed to preview a peak into the trend report, highlight select retro-inspired merchandise we’ve designed, and drive clients to explore the full report.

We developed a dedicated web page for each quarterly feature, designed to expand on the trend insights and guide clients through relevant examples. While the structure remained clean and intuitive, I wanted the visual direction to embraced the energy of the vintage revival, introducing bold color to create an experience that felt exciting, approachable, and compelling for clients. Each feature’s visual direction was tailored to reflect its specific theme.
